Surface combatant Fleet Upgrade

AUGUST 5. Defence Minister gave law of  Proximity, to Mitsubishi Heavy Indusries to supply a tender 'of' three [ 3 ] class frigates. These frigates will replace the ANZAC class frigates, and enable Defence Australia to deploy a more sustainable approach to defence.

THE SUSTAINABLE FUNCTION is to ensure the capabilities 'of Defence Australia is able to meet the future demands of the Royal australian Navy's personnel.

The tendering process now completed, Defence Australia will now secure a contract for supply of A commercial product from a Japanese supplier Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

Mogami -class frigate provides a 10,000 [ ten thousand ] Nautical mile range, a 32 cell missile launch system [information relating to supplier of missiles has not been provided ], and a contract with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries will ensure the Capability of the Royal Australian Navy will adopt with the  the Mogami-class frigate surface-to-air missiles and ant-ship missile operation.

The obligation of the Australian Government in the long term is to provide a woek ready workforce to encourage a industry based export government.
